Description:
Lawrence County is in the design stages of paving Leola Road from Alabama Highway 33 east to County Route 196 (in the Piney Grove Community). The project length is approx. 15 miles long and will be broken into three phases. The project will be funded using National Forest Funds. Lawrence County plans to use county forces to complete the grade and drain, and let to contract the base and pave. Construction should begin on Phase I in the fall of 2008
